Our Mission

Ultimate For All is an initiative to bring disc sports such as Ultimate Frisbee to underserved communities globally, starting with refugee youth in Israel.

Refugee youth in Israel often face extremely challenging conditions such as a lack of acceptance from society at large, the risk and danger of deportation, coping with the trauma of leaving one's home country in challenging circumstances, and a higher risk for poverty in Israel.

Participating in disc sports such as Ultimate Frisbee provides benefits such as a sense of community with teammates and competitors, improved confidence, and leadership opportunities. Furthermore, this program helps bridge the divide between refugee youth and the society at large through tournaments. These competitions provide Ultimate for All participants the opportunity to meet and compete with other young disc sports enthusiasts from throughout Israel.

In March 2021, Ultimate for All started running disc sports workshops for refugee youth to create Ultimate Frisbee teams that will compete throughout Israel. The program has established itself at Gvanim elementary school in South Tel Aviv with weekly practices and, and participation in youth tournaments for the greater Tel Aviv area.

Ultimate

Ultimate otherwise known as Ultimate Frisbee is a team sport that involves passing a frisbee to an end zone to score points much like American football. Participants benefit by improving their running ability, hand-eye coordination, and developing teamwork and leadership skills.
Furthermore, at the youth level, ultimate is refereed using an observer system. The players arbitrate calls on the field and bring the issue to an observer if they need assistance. This teaches excellent sportsmanship.

Freestyle

Freestyle involves doing complex tricks with the frisbee such as spinning it behind one's back or rolling it across one's body. It can be done individually or in pairs. It improves participants' hand-eye coordination and is gentle on the joints.

Disc Golf

Disc golf is the game of golf with a frisbee. It involves throwing a frisbee into a basket in the fewest throws possible. It's a low cost, fun game that is appropriate for people of different athletic abilities.
